The event to be held from November 27 to December 1, is organized and supported by: Harbin Institute of Technology Science Park, Qingdao Science and Technology Bureau, Oceantec Valley, Jimo Municipal Government, Qingdao Municipal Government, ASRTU, Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China.
Over 300 scientists and technology experts are invited during the conference, including 200 foreign representatives; there will also be 100 representatives of investment institutions and around 600 participants coming from enterprises for a total of about 1,000 people.
Qingdao gives full play to the development of "The Belt and Road - New Eurasian Land Bridge economic corridor" as the main node and key city of the maritime cooperation strategy by promoting international scientific research and cooperation, accelerating the technology transfer, updating the industry structures, promoting business cooperation and building of new models of integrated Belt and Road hubs. Three major scientific and technological innovation themes will be addressed in the conference: "Collaborative Innovation”, “New and Old Kinetic Energy Conversion”, “21st Century Digital Silk Road".
